Henk at Ruwach Art Café
Richmond Hill, is not just one of the safest but also the trendiest subourb in our friendly city. Many funky shops, deli’s and restaurants opened their doors the last couple of years making our quiet peaceful little neighbourhood the place to be.
One of my favourite restaurants is Ruwach Art Café, situated at 70 Campbell Street and literally just up the road from Willow Cottage Bed and Breakfast. The setting is casual, colourful with have a great ambience and good wholesome food at affordable prices.
Henk, the chef and owner regularly change his menu with something exiting and new to tempt the taste buds. Husband and I being vegetarians, Henk always goes out of his way and takes great pleasure in concocting a plate of food for his hungry veggie guests and we devour his offerings with gusto.
Ruwach Art Café is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to 2pm. Also opens on Friday evenings but one has to make a booking to secure a table. Many of our regular guests have taken their hostess up on her suggestion for a really great value for money meal of generous proportions and all agreed Ruwach Art Café food is yummy and affordable.
